Conference Offerings:

Celebrate Dyslexia, LDA of Texas, and ECS have joined forces to offer comprehensive training for educators, advocates, parents, and dyslexia therapists. This partnership aims to equip participants with a solid foundation and advanced skills to enhance support for students with disabilities.

Our program will provide participants the opportunity to engage with expert practitioners who are passionate on providing a practical approach to serving our student with disabilities.  Our sessions  will include applicable laws, ethics, best practices, strategies in working with parents and schools, and how to develop appropriate plans.

In addition to the informational sessions, we will also have networking opportunities and group discussions where participants can share their experiences and ideas with one another. This conference aims to not only provide knowledge but also foster a community of support for students with disabilities. Our goal is to equip all attendees with the tools and resources needed to effectively serve students with disabilities in their respective roles.

Get the Answers You’ve Been Searching For at the 2025 Conference

Are you ready to tackle the most pressing questions in education law and compliance? At our 2025 conference, we’re diving deep into the topics that matter most to educators, administrators, and legal professionals. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the critical questions we’ll answer:

  • What happens when an OCR complaint comes in?
  • When are Manifestation Determinations required?
  • Which diagnoses automatically trigger Section 504 eligibility?
  • How can you best engage with medical professionals to support the IEP and IAP process?
  • What is the most important legal differences between Section 504 and IDEA?
  • Are student mental health or “SEL” Section 504 considerations?

But that’s not all! We’ll also explore:

  • Why does Child Find mean more now than ever?
  • IDEA, IEPs, LRE, IEE – what do they mean, and how can you ensure compliance?
  • How can you most effectively defend “comp ed” claims?
  • How can we best facilitate ARD’s or Section 504 meetings to reach positive outcomes?
  • What are the top Section 504 and IDEA mistakes—and how can you avoid them?
  • How can we best support and include our parents in understanding Section 504 and/or IDEA?
  • How do IEP’s and IAP’s transition from K-12 to pose-secondary?
  • What does our student need to do to receive accommodations in post-secondary?

This is your chance to gain actionable insights, stay ahead of legal changes, and ensure compliance in your school or district. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn from top experts and leave with the knowledge you need to succeed.
